April Movie Preview
Here's a look at some upcoming movies! Well, the stuff I care about, anyway...
APRIL 1

This is Duncan Jones' (David Bowie's son) sophomore directing gig, following the excellent 2009 Sam Rockwell sci-fi gem, "Moon". The premise is intriguing, and I'm excited to see how it turns out.
APRIL 8
American: The Bill Hicks Story:
I must admit, I don't know very much about Bill Hicks, except that he was an awesome stand-up comic who died way too early. I am excited for this, but certainly skeptical about what footage they're going to use (outside of his actual stand up).
Your Highness:
Does this look stupid? Yes. Do I want to see it? Absolutely. Three of the four dudes behind Pineapple Express (sans Rogen) are back for a medieval stoner comedy? Hey, why not?
APRIL 15
Scream 4:
Yes, I'm excited for Scream 4. Whether it's good or bad, it looks like it will be a good time.

Dylan Dog: Dead of Night:
Gross. Is this supposed to be a comedy? I honestly can't tell. I love the shot of Brandon Routh laughing at the end, just in case you weren't sure it was supposed to be funny. From the Producers Of: Terminator: Salvation, Superman Returns, and Cowboys & Aliens.... Who is this movie for????
Prom:
"If I'm about to kiss you- you'll know it" HAHAHA this actually looks pretty funny, of course for all the wrong reasons. Something just seems wrong to me about a movie about high school prom that is so clearly marketed toward girls who aren't in high school yet.

ReplyDeleteSorry I haven't been able to read your last few posts. Unfortunately, I haven't had a chance to see most of your reviewed films and I'm uber spoiler sensitive.
I cannot wait to see what you write about Scream 4 (or SCRE4M for the uber-hip crowd).
